# Start with the RevenueBase portal

> Find an audience, enrich a list, or verify email addresses without writing code.

The [RevenueBase portal](https://app.revenuebase.ai) gives you two apps: **Audience Builder** for finding contacts and companies, and **Email Verifier** for checking addresses you already have.

## Sign in

1. Open [app.revenuebase.ai](https://app.revenuebase.ai) and sign in with your account email or the sign-in provider you use for RevenueBase.
2. Complete any email or account verification requested on screen.
3. Choose **Audience Builder** or **Email Verifier** from the sidebar.

If a colleague invited you, use the link in the invitation email to join their organization. Use the email address that received the invitation.

You can use the portal without an API key. You only need a key when connecting your own software or an [AI assistant through MCP](https://docs.revenuebase.ai/docs/getting-started/mcp.md).

## Understand credits before you start

| Activity | Pay-as-you-go (PAYG) | All-you-can-eat (AYCE / Unlimited) |

| Check audience counts and inspect a masked contact sample | **Free**, 0 credits | **Included**, 0 credits |
| Retrieve contacts and companies | **Uses credits** when you retrieve paid records | **Unlimited**, 0 retrieval credits |
| Verify email addresses | **1 credit** per Valid or Invalid result; Unknown is free | **1 credit** per Valid or Invalid result; Unknown is free |

Unlimited includes available contact email and mobile details. Request limits and account access controls still apply. Your organization shares one credit balance. If you have a monthly spending limit, **Your available credits** reflects what you can use now. [Ask an admin](https://docs.revenuebase.ai/docs/portal/organization-settings.md#understand-shared-credits-and-monthly-limits) if you need more.

## Find your settings

Open your **organization name** at the bottom of the sidebar for **Organization Settings**, **Plan & Billing**, **Profile settings**, and **Log out**. Billing controls are available to admins. **My API keys** is a separate sidebar item for both Admins and Members.
