# Credit Prices

> Read the current unit prices for contact and company retrieval.

## Credits and plans

PAYG is Pay-as-you-go. AYCE is All-you-can-eat.

| Usage | PAYG | AYCE |
| - | - | - |
| Price catalog lookup | **Free**
0 credits | **Free**
0 credits |

## When to use Credit Prices

Calculate retrieval costs or a maximum hold in your application using the current unit rates. Reading these prices does not reserve or spend credits.

## Example

Set `REVENUEBASE_API_KEY` to your API key.

```bash
curl --request GET 'https://api.revenuebase.ai/v2/contact/credits/prices' \
  --header "X-Key: $REVENUEBASE_API_KEY"
```

Response captured from the local test API on October 13, 2026. Results can change as the dataset or account changes.

```json
{
  "contactRow": 1,
  "companyRow": 1,
  "email": 1,
  "mobile": 10,
  "smartField": 10
}
```

## Read the chart

| Field | Current PAYG price | Applies to |
| - | - | - |
| `contactRow` | **1 credit** | Each returned contact row or Enrich match. |
| `companyRow` | **1 credit** | Each returned Company Enrich match or exported company row. |
| `email` | **+1 credit** | Each populated selected revealed contact email. |
| `mobile` | **+10 credits** | Each populated selected revealed contact mobile. |
| `smartField` | **+10 credits** | Each semantic or lookalike filter node in a paid request. |

The price catalog returns unit rates on both plans. AYCE includes unlimited contact and company retrieval at 0 credits; this endpoint is not an entitlement lookup. Free Count, View, Insights, and Estimate do not become paid because the catalog includes a SmartSearch rate.

## Estimate and reserve

Use [Estimate](/api-reference/estimate-export) or [Company Estimate](/api-reference/estimate-company-export) for a filtered file forecast. An estimate can be smaller than the reservation required to start a job. Use the row cap and selected details to calculate the upper bound, and check [your balance](/api-reference/account/get-your-remaining-credit-balance).

See [Credits & Plans](/api-reference/v2/credits) for missing-value charges, reveal defaults, holds, and repeated requests. Email Verification has its [own per-result chart](/api-reference/v2/email-verification-overview#credits-and-plans).

## Next steps

Refresh rates before presenting a price calculation, then choose explicit row and reveal limits for the retrieval request.

        Lets a client compute an exact cost for a set of rows it already has —
        an on-screen preview, a ticked selection — without a round trip and
        without hardcoding numbers that could silently drift from what actually
        gets charged. Same values `CreditPrices.from_settings` uses everywhere
        else; not gated by entitlement or credits mode, since the numbers
        themselves aren't sensitive and a client needs them regardless of
        whether metering is currently enforced.
