# Column Values

> Get or search the options for one enumerable contact field.

## When to use Column Values

Populate one filter picker or search its bounded vocabulary. Choose a field marked as enumerable in [Columns](/api-reference/columns).

## Example

Set `REVENUEBASE_API_KEY` to your API key.

## Read the result

| Field or input | Meaning |
| - | - |
| `column` | Canonical name of the requested field. |
| `values` | Returned field values; use them in eq or in conditions. |
| `truncated` | True means more options exist than were returned. |
| `limit` | Applied vocabulary cap. Omit it to use the field’s valueLimit; a requested value is clamped to that cap. |
| `search` | Optional query parameter narrowing the returned options. |
| `multiselect` | Whether the field supports a multiselect picker. |

## Errors and limits

An unknown field returns 404. Open-ended fields, such as JOB\_TITLE\_PER or COMPANY\_NAME\_ORG, return 422 COLUMN\_NOT\_ENUMERABLE; filter these fields with contains instead. This endpoint has no page cursor. A truncated list is not the full vocabulary.

For all available picker values at once, request Columns with include=values. Contact and company routes share the [default 10 requests per second per user](/api-reference/v2/rate-limits). Wait for the reset time or Retry-After when rate limited; coordinate requests across your workers and API keys.
